Elaine Esther Lukic serving the Denver Metro, Summit County and Eagle County areas of Colorado. ELAINE ESTHER LUKIC, ESQ

Elaine Esther Lukic brings practical experience and a meticulous, detail oriented approach to her law practice. Ms. Lukic received her law degree cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, as well as her LLM with distinction in Criminal Procedure and Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law School, and her LLM in Taxation from University of Denver Law School.

While in law school, Ms. Lukic received her law school's highest honor, the Certificate of Merit Award, in both Trial Workshop and Advanced Trial Workshop. Her thesis at Georgetown University School of Law, Money Laundering In The Securities Industry (April 1998), received national recognition and was instrumental in numerous changes in securities regulations. Her participation in Georgetown Law's International Drug Policy Seminar brought her invaluable insight from guest instructor Barry McCaffrey, former Drug Czar under the Clinton administration. As an attorney, Ms. Lukic worked during 1999 as Deputy District Attorney specializing in domestic violence and sexual assault cases under a Federal Violence Against Women grant. She is a member of Colorado's Alternative Defense Counsel and has defended countless clients in both felony and misdemeanor cases. She has successfully represented clients in cases involving felony securities fraud, Colorado Organized Crime Control Act, as well as all levels of domestic violence and sexual assault cases.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Lukic worked as a Vice President of a major securities firm and has many years of experience in investments, financial and estate planning. She currently holds securities licenses 7, 24 and 65, and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative. She worked as Compliance and Regional Supervisor with a large securities firm for many years, and is familiar with NASD arbitrations, SEC investigations and all aspects of customer complaints in the area of investments. She has conducted numerous classes and public seminars in the area of estate planning and securities law, but specializes in simplifying and explaining basic estate planning techniques to today's average individual who has concerns about care of minor children, running the family business and one's own financial affairs in the event of incapacity. She is knowledgeable in establishing charitable foundations, tax planning and asset protection and has designed and implemented estate plans for all levels of net worth.

Ms. Lukic is committed to the community, and her pro bono and volunteer work enhances her ability to work as an advocate and partner to her clients. Elaine Esther Lukic is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, Boulder Bar Association, as well as Continental Divide Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in the Colorado Supreme Court, Colorado Federal Court, and U.S. Tax Court. She is a member of Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Association and the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
